Corlia Malan aims to inspire and empower others to create self-awareness of a sustainable ACTIVE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE, that will enhance your vitality and overall quality of life. She believes in listening to your body with compassion and appreciate the uniqueness of your life’s journey. Corlia is a mother of three boys, was an athlete and fitness model and is an expert in physical fitness. Diploma in exercise science, personal- and group-fitness training, Pilates, pre- and post-natal exercises ,aqua aerobics, swimming.
She holds a Baccalaureus Commercii degree in Informatics, which she has skillfully integrated with her fitness qualifications to develop a unique mobile application. Corlia understands the vital importance of maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle through all stages of life, including before, during and after pregnancy. Grateful for her body's resilience through various life phases, she empathizes deeply with the physical changes that affect our mental and emotional state. She recognizes the direct impact of a balanced, active lifestyle on both current well-being and long-term health.

Corlia is truly an expert fitness instructor - she gives clear directions, precise feedback, and has created an incredibly warm and welcoming community. Over almost three years of attending her classes three times per week, she never repeated a sequence, and I felt a huge improvement in my personal fitness and health. I was lucky enough to attend both her Pilates and FiT classes, and both were exceptionally fun and a thorough workout.
I discovered Corlia’s studio in 2022 right after my son was born. I was looking for a Pilates class to help me recover postpartum and heard about Corlia’s classes through word of mouth - she doesn’t need to advertise because her classes are so popular. She helped me regain core stability, strength, and most importantly confidence, and helped me pay close attention to my body and tailor my recovery during those crucial first months.
This isn’t a studio only for elite athletes - she welcomes all types of bodies into her classes and is exceptionally skilled at keeping track of our injuries or current limitations and giving specific adaptations for each exercise. When my 75 year old mother visited, who is a bit of a fitness nut and works out at least 5 times a week, she told me that Corlia was the best fitness instructor she’d ever worked with, and I agree.
I’ve recently moved away from Lusaka, and Corlia’s classes are a part of my life there that I will miss the most - they helped me stay grounded and healthy during these crazy years of having young kids. I strongly recommend her studio to anyone looking to take a bit better care of themselves in a fun and welcoming community.

I was a working mom of 5 living in Zambia from summer of 2018-2020 when I participate in CmomFiT. I joined HiiT classes as well as Pilates. It was the perfect fit for me. Corlia was able to create programs based on my fitness level. When I experienced injuries she always offered modifications so that I could keep working out well allowing my injury to heal. When my work schedule would not allow me to attend morning classes anymore she opened a new evening class. There was such a feeling of care and camaraderie amongst our classes which was fostered by Coralie. I truly enjoyed my time in Zambia and CmomFiT was a big reason why.

Corlia is the best trainer I’ve ever had not only that she takes care of you spiritually and mentally - looking at the whole person. She adapts training to suit all levels of fitness and body types. Corlia developed training programmes for me pre-natal and postpartum to aid my recovery and birthing experience. She makes training fun, achievable and ensures to cover different muscle groups. Not only that we loved the social side that being a part of C Mom Fit offered us. It gave us some of the best years of our lives in Zambia and knowledge, memories and friendships to take with us on our departure. It is the best thing we ever did for us as a couple!

I am a 53 year old Canadian educator living and working in Zambia for 2 years. I joined the high intensity fitness class with Corlia at CmomFiT. I was a little nervous at first because I hadn't been exercising regularly for quite some time. Corlia was a wonderful instructor. She always gave us options so that everyone could perform at a level they were comfortable with. She pushed us, but she was always very encouraging, supportive and attentive. Hi Corlia, Just to say how important your classes have been to my recovery and fitness level.
I started attending you classes in 2012 on the advise of my physio who had been treating me for
over a year with acute back pain due to being out of alignment and resulting in my not being able
to drive for any length of time.
I am an Occupational Therapist and have damaged my back in the past by lifting people before
the new non lifting policies. My spine is damaged in the cervical, thoracic and lumber regions so
the physios had lots to work on. In 2000 I came off a ski lift badly and had reconstruction surgery
to my right knees so posture and gait also added to the spine not being aligned.
Corlia, you are a great motivator and you just told me to go at my own pace and to tell you when it hurt so we could modify the activity and gradually over the 2 years there have been remarkable improvements. I can put my right heel to the ground when I run in water now. My driving problems have resolved and my back is aligned thanks to the great work you do on our abdominal muscles and core stability.
I was training to be a yoga teacher before the knee injury so recognise the way you incorporate
breathing and even some yoga moves in water to keep our range of movement.
